A warm, elegant website for a Japanese-fusion restaurant with online menu, reservation system, dietary filtering, and food photography gallery.
Sakura Sushi, a Toronto Japanese-fusion restaurant, needed a modern digital presence to replace their outdated PDF menu system. Customers couldn't easily browse the menu on mobile devices, dietary restrictions weren't clearly marked, and there was no online reservation system. The restaurant was losing millennial and Gen Z diners who expect seamless mobile experiences and clear allergen information.

Designed a warm, elegant website with amber and gold accent palette reflecting Japanese aesthetics. Built a mobile-first menu browsing system with touch-optimized navigation, dietary filters (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, shellfish-free), and high-quality food photography showcases. Integrated reservation system with real-time availability. Implemented elegant typography with Japanese-influenced spacing and hierarchy. Optimized images for fast loading while maintaining visual appeal.
Created a mobile experience that matches the quality of the dining experience. Lighthouse score of 97/100 ensures fast loading on all devices. Perfect accessibility score (100/100 WCAG 2.1 AA) means the menu is usable by everyone, including those with visual impairments. Mobile menu UX is touch-optimized with one-thumb navigation and quick dietary filtering. Page loads in 1.2 seconds on average mobile connection.
