Had a bit of a shocking encounter with an employee. Asked if a certain individual was working that day (a male), and was met with the response "he doesn't work here, we dont have many male employees here, WE HATE MEN" Now when i walked in and saw the pride flags everywhere I had no issues, I support the pride crowd. But to be met with that level of hate speech that had no sort of correlation to what I asked was quite the shocking and discouraging thing to hear especially coming from the demographic of people who cry hate speech all the time.

kate was my saviour today!! omg i came in because i felt like shite and needed a pick me up, kate hooked me up with the best stuff and was even kind enough to spot me a dollar. my dudes, i am not being dramatic when i say kate singlehandedly restored my faith in humanity in that one moment, KATE I APPRECIATE YOUUU everyone needs a kate in their life, kate best employee of the month. thank u value buds😋

My wife and I are regular, loyal customers who follow all store policies. I’ve visited this location at least five times in the last month and shown my expired ID each time without issue. After renewing my Alberta driver’s license, I was issued a temporary paper ID without a photo—official proof until my new card arrives. During my last visit, employee #202268 refused to accept this valid temporary ID and told me to leave, even though customers were waiting and my wife stayed to pay with my card. He also prioritized helping a coworker over customers. After I left, he asked my wife if I could have shown my old ID—not knowing the registry destroys old IDs—showing he is not up to date on current policies. This treatment was unprofessional and suggests a lack of proper training on your ID policy. Please address this matter

Prefer this one now over Namao. It's more organized and they keep their boards updated as well as a more varied selection. As always though at all locations great staff and great prices.
