What customers say about this dispensary

Staff here is kind of rude, they seem like they hate their jobs. Their prices are also more expensive compared to other dispensaries.

Walking into the Tokyo Smoke dispensary on Wellington feels a little like stepping into the future—one where calm, clarity, and good design are the default setting. The storefront doesn’t shout for attention; it invites it, quietly. Inside, the space opens up with the kind of meticulous order and warmth that makes you wonder if someone actually designed it around the idea of lowering your pulse. What struck me right away wasn’t just the aesthetic—clean lines, thoughtful lighting, an atmosphere that feels more like a boutique lifestyle studio than a dispensary—but the energy of the staff. There’s no rushing, no hovering, no assumption that you already know what you’re looking for. Instead, conversations unfold at your pace. The team has that rare blend of deep product knowledge and genuine curiosity about what you’re hoping to experience. They don’t try to steer you—they try to understand you. One of the most impressive parts of the Wellington location is the way they’ve curated their menu. It’s not overwhelming for newcomers, yet still satisfying for seasoned consumers. Each product feels deliberately chosen, not just stocked. The in-store explanations—both from staff and signage—make the nuances feel accessible: terpene profiles, effects, lineage, and ideal use moments. You leave not just with something to enjoy, but with a deeper sense of why it works for you. Even the checkout process embodies the same intention: smooth, respectful, unhurried. It’s clear that Tokyo Smoke has put serious thought into creating a dispensary experience that is elevated without being pretentious. You don’t feel like a customer passing through. You feel like a guest—welcome, understood, and taken care of. In a city crowded with options, Tokyo Smoke on Wellington distinguishes itself not by trying to be everything, but by being deeply, consistently excellent at what it does: creating a space where quality, comfort, and community quietly meet. It’s the kind of place you leave feeling a little lighter than when you walked in.

Went in tonight at 6:30 ish. Normally the service is great and the people working are really helpful and friendly, not tonight. The girl working was not super pleasant, really gave off the vibe she could not care to be there or help customers. The iPad wasn’t working properly which is fine but then she proceeds to snap/yell at the guy behind the counter who gets your product. Was super uncomfortable as a customer and then when I get home I realize she gave me the wrong product (which was more expensive than what I asked for). I should have checked before I left but honestly was such an awkward experince I shoved the stuff in my purse and left. I second the comment below about Secret Garden, they are always super friendly and they actually don’t mind helping you. The worst experince at a dispensary I have ever had.

The atmosphere is fine and the employees are nice. However. The products are all in a different room and they often have just 1 person working so it takes forever to get service. Employees must get so many steps having to go all the way to the back room for each customer. Maybe management should shell out for a little more staff. Until then i wont be back. Just too slow and inconvenient.

I just came here for the first time and had a really great experience. Evan and Kyle were working and they were so friendly! They price matched my items to the cheapest prices in the area and created an account for me. I felt very valued by these two. They honestly made my day with their customer service and I hope they are recognized for their 10/10 customer service. I look forward to going back!
