Staff is very kind, and selection is good - especially considering the space they have. Love the hand drawn posters on the wall, both humorous and educational. It's a nice touch! Don't forget to plan ahead- there is a teriyaki spot next door that slaps. After shopping at Local Amsterdam, it would be wise to have food on hand.

DECEPTIVE BUD TENDER, if you’re going to patronize this dispensary order ahead. Been to over 75+ dispensaries across the US and this has to be one of the worst experiences I’ve had yet. I had two pretty good experiences here even tipped on those occasions but today when I went I felt like my bud tender was trying to take advantage of me. Back story I've been here two times in the past 2 weeks but I ordered ahead and picked up from the SAME bud tender. On this particular day I didn’t order ahead and stopped in. I told the bud tender (who I picked up from TWICE before) that I wanted the cheapest vape they had. The same exact thing I’ve gotten before. $15 vape. He brings out other kinds and began explaining without telling the price. RED FLAG #1. I asked him the price and he says $20. I said yall don’t have the other vapes I usually get and he says oh no sorry we are out RED FLAG #2. He then says they aren’t that much more but I told him that’s a little more than I expected to pay so I’m good. I left and then before completely going home decided to check the website. Lo and behold there are 4-5 different types of $15 vapes on there. I go back in and all of a sudden OH THEY HAVE THEM and he supposedly didn’t know what I was talking about. They had SEVERAL $15 vapes so how couldn’t you have known? I’ve been here before and ordered the same thing everytime. Ofc I don’t expect anyone to remember what I get but if someone asks for the cheapest thing you have why try to be deceptive? Then I was gas lit by the other bud tender saying he didn’t do it on purpose. I don’t agree because I’ve been here and have ordered with this SAME gentleman two times before. Tipped the same bud tender TWO TIMES BEFORE, even made small talk. I stick out like a sore thumb, black with long dread locks MD ID. Be for real. Will not be back and do not recommend.

My first visits to this location as a new customer left me dissatisfied. Other local stores have a kindness that feels welcoming; here, I have felt pressured. It appears the employees have short patience for me. If you want a recommendation, look at the other highly rated pot stores in this area (dockside, lux) as their brands and sales are better quality, alongside with friendly budtenders who can not only give useful advice but also uplift your day.

Love the vibe here. Real low key. No bells and whistles, just cannabis! Also, the phone number google has is wrong, just the way I like it.
