I’ve been a regular customer here because one specific strain helps manage my chronic health conditions. During my most recent visit, I was sold a product that turned out to be completely empty when I opened it at home. The safety seal appeared to have been cut and completely EMPTY of all product. I returned to the store within about an hour and a half (as soon as I was able), with the receipt and original packaging, but was told there would be no refund or exchange and that staff “didn’t know what happened.” As someone managing multiple chronic illnesses and chronic pain, I have limited energy. This experience was very discouraging and distressing. It also felt unsafe… as a survivor of SA, receiving a product that appeared tampered with is unsettling. I’ve kept the packaging and reported the issue to the proper regulatory bodies so it can be reviewed. I’m sharing this so others can double check that their safety seals are intact before leaving the store.

Do Not shop here unless you want to get ripped off. I purchased product here several times and always felt the product was less than what the bag said. On my last purchase I actually weighed the product and it was off by a couple of grams. When I called the person that I purchased the product from, he advised me to call Pure Sun Farms. I emailed them with no response. I think it is the store’s responsibility to make sure that what they are selling is the correct weight and the CUSTOMER is not getting ripped off. Clearly some product is being chinced along the way! I will NEVER purchase anything from here again because I don’t know how many times I was ripped off. Be aware and have them weigh the product infront of you before purchasing anything. Do not buy their sealed bags because the weight on the bag is definitely not what you get. Don’t waste your money and get ripped off.

Been a customer since the day they opened 3 years ago. Spent thousands on products, and many good interactions. However the only time I needed something from them beyond handing them money for a product, they failed miserably. Purchased a Brindle Farms cartridge and within two days the coil shorted out and was not producing any vapour. Half full 2g rosin 510 cartridge so it still had a gram of product that was wasted. Manager had a look at the cartridge and pointed to the 80% full policy required for returns that was printed on the receipt, and said he wouldn't be willing to take a loss on a product in case the manufacturer wouldn't take it back. Gleefully folded his hands and told me his hands were tied. Didn't even try to contact the manufacturer or offer any remedy. I walked over to Valu Buds, and since I'd been just burned by La Canapa I asked about their policy before purchasing a new cartridge. They assured me they would work with the manufacturer if there were any defects, and said they would not have a minimum fill level for cartridges to be eligible for warranty. If you can't take a loss on a $60 cartridge I can't imagine how poorly this store will do once you lose business from unsatisfied customers.

I purchased two cartridges from La Canapa Cannabis on the same day. One of them stopped working after fewer than 10 puffs. The oil inside was extremely thick and stuck to the sides of the cartridge, which prevented it from settling properly. I tested it on three different devices at home and none of them worked. I returned it within the 7 day return period clearly stated on the receipt. The front desk staff was very thorough and polite during the process. Shout out to her. She is genuinely kind and good at her job. Unfortunately, despite the cartridge failing every test, I was told it could not be returned because it did not appear to be at least 70 percent full. That reasoning makes no sense for two important reasons: - The oil was so thick it never settled, which made the cartridge look less full than it was - These cartridges are never filled to 100 percent, so using a visual percentage as a return threshold is misleading If I had gently warmed the cartridge with a lighter and let the oil settle, it clearly would have shown more than 70 percent. But I should not have to go out of my way to prove a product is defective when it clearly does not work. Even BC Cannabis stores and black market sellers have zero issues accepting returns on defective cartridges. If they can handle it with no problem, so should a licensed retailer. To the person in the back room giving the orders, whether owner, manager, or supervisor, do better. Avoiding the customer and letting staff take the heat for a policy you enforce from behind the scenes is not a good look. If I have to fight this hard for a basic return, I will gladly take my business somewhere else.
