Today marked my inaugural visit to Kootenay Cannabis, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. The staff at the dispensary were not only super nice, but also incredibly informative. They took the time to educate me about their wide range of products, making sure I felt confident and comfortable with my selections. It was a visit that left me feeling impressed and eager to return in the future.

This place is normally a 4-5 star, good location, good products, fair pricing, but minus points for todays service. I go here every so often, perhaps once a month or two. Vape cartridges have a chance to clog/leak, it's a known fact. Return policies are common. Here, the policy used to be within 1 week, which I have successfully returned in the past. I could not find the return policy info on their website, and I was never informed of any return policy updates in person. My vape cartridge clogged and leaked out about 1/3 of the cartridge onto my battery. Went to the store and was refused a return. I asked the employee if the return policy was written down anywhere, he said no. I asked what the return policy was, he said "two or three days", which seems.. arbitrary/subjective. How was I supposed to know? Is it common practice to call and reconfirm return policies every time before returning to the store, even on items you've returned before in the past? No ill will, just a heads up to other vape buyers.

Awesome place. Great owner. They always take time to help me find what I’m looking for. I never feel like they are just trying to make a sale. They clearly would rather have a happy customer than make a sale which means so much to me! I’m pretty picky and the owner is no BS. Always tells you how it is. So I never leave with bad product. I’m always so happy with my product when I go here! I drive all the way from south Vancouver to visit this dispensary because the prices are fair - the quality is good - and the environment is very BC vibes
