I visited High Ties on Rideau to buy a vape battery that my regular store didn't carry. My first visit was positive: a friendly clerk greeted me with a big smile, and although they didn't have the item I wanted on that day, they offered alternatives. Before I left, the clerk informed me about their price-matching policy, making me glad I'd stopped by. My second visit, however, was entirely different. This clerk was busy chatting on his phone and didn't greet me as I entered. He disappeared and returned, still on his phone, to let me through the stanchion. As I left after paying for my battery, he remained on the phone and made no effort to assist me in exiting. I didn't know how to open the stanchion, so I budged a post aside to squeeze through and leave. The clerk suddenly yelled at me for not putting the post back, and followed me outside, shouting that I should have waited. He then threatened me with physical violence and hollered out that I was banned from the store. I guess that was my reward for choosing their business to make a purchase? It was quite surreal. I contacted High Ties to express my concerns about the incident, and I was fortunate enough to reach the manager, Theresa, at another location. She listened attentively, was profusely apologetic, assured me that I was not banned, promised I would receive an apology from this employee, and offered a 25% discount at any High Ties. In short, my second experience was negative, but I want to recognize Theresa's exceptional customer service and commitment to addressing the issue.

So I bought infused payrolls yesterday at around $27. Tried to smoke them today and could not get a single toke out of it! So I tried the next one. Nope. Tried the last one. Nope. So I come back into the store and the Manager Justin says he can not take it back because it is open! Well, of course, I tried smoking it. Lol. So no refund or exchange. Didn't even offer anything except I'm sorry! That doesn't help me smoke my weed! Oh! And that everything is final sale. there are no signs posted stating that. He says that it says on the receipt. That I have never gotten because they have my info in the system. As I write this review in their lobby, I have advised another customer not to buy the infused preroll. Now he tells me I am soliciting. Nope just making my review in person! I am not a happy and chill stoner because I ain't stoned!! Never going to come to this place again. It was just a convenient location. Didn't even have good prices. Smh.
