Growers Retail

Not sure what the last review was talking about. My time at Grower’s Retail had to be the best spent in a dispensary, in Toronto that I ever have had before. That guy Taylor he refers to was actually very knowledgeable in what he sold me. But that wasn’t even the kicker! I recognized a band from Toronto I have been following playing over the speaker and asked him what was up with that, and if he was a fan. He informed me he plays ALOT of local Toronto music in store and supports them. Yeah, I know (not weed related) but it still made for a great experience! Most of the staff here are very approachable and friendly. I would suggest this dispensary above all others on Bloordale!

I recently moved to bloordale and I keep going in new dispensaries around the area . This time I choose growers and honestly it’s the first and last time for me . I read reviews before I go in and am reading the reviews I was already skeptical of all the negative reviews and few positive reviews by admins accounts lol . Regardless I decided to go in and see for myself and yup another corporate store run by kids that don’t know much about cannabis , it’s culture and it’s showed in the recommendations or might I say lack of it . Ps I looked at the latest reviews praising a guy called Taylor and saw the review was posted by an account that had posted twice and both reviews were praising Taylor at different dispensaries 😅 Ps: Taylor needs to be more smart when posting fake reviews of himself , thank god I caught that and went in to confirm and yup absolutely dismal service and lack of actual knowledge in recommending product . The older reviews of people being rude and idiots seems to check out after my visit a confirm with t. Spend your moeny at a place where people are genuinely interested in serving you . Hard pass

I don’t think I’ve ever had as much fun buying cannabis than I did with Taylor at Grower’s. I came in not knowing what I wanted at all and he took the time to run down almost everything they had in stock until we found what I was looking for. While he did it, he had this charm that made me want to keep returning to this store. Fun guy! Amazing service and definitely my recommendation for dispensaries in the Bloor West area. Ps. They always seem to have the best soundtrack/songs playing while I’m there

Don’t bother coming to this dispensary. Every time I come here the costumer service is abysmal. Staff having ridiculously long personal conversations with people while the lineup continues to grow. Another time I had a strange experience where a female staff member repeatedly asked my girlfriend for ID (even though she had already clearly provided it), her reason being that she didn’t believe that she showed it properly the first time (Doesn’t even make any sense?). With this staff and their weird power trips and behaviour I would honestly suggest going to their location in Cabbagetown if possible, or spend your money somewhere where it’ll be respected

I used to frequent this place every week, spending at least $150... Until finding out that the ONE employee I enjoyed seeing was FIRED without cause. She was knowledgeable, kind, caring, and incredibly personable. She took time to make sure the product she was selling to you was exactly what you wanted. I will absolutely not support this local business anymore and will follow her wherever she decides to go. Good luck Growers.....
