Had a wonderful experience with Gwen this evening. Recommended me really nice stuff out there

Picked up a product earlier in the day and was told it's getting low. Called back a few hours later to ask a different employee if it was still in stock so I didn't waste my time and was told they couldn't give out that information. Everything should be transparent, i understand if they cant give prices (i guess?)but you cant even say if it's in stock? As a customer i dont want to drive all the way there to have my time and fuel wasted if it's out of stock. The person  insisted it's aglc rules which I've never seen enforced once in 500 calls to other stores. And who would. I feel the employee is misinformed and should know common  sense.  also if this is indeed stores rules, I ended up going somewhere else to get a different one meanwhile maybe you had it in stock. And if it WAS out of stock why wouldn't you just be up front and honest about it so the customer doesn't waste there time coming there as that's what works for them and they don't want to settle for something else just because.
