COTERA+REED ARCHITECTS is a firm established by Phillip Reed and Juan Cotera in 2003. Both have a long history of work in Austin and with public projects. They were previously partners together in the firm of Cotera, Kolar, Negrete & Reed, a large Austin-based firm founded in 1975 by Juan Cotera. They left CKNR to form an office which would pursue work with a greater design focus.
